This broom is standing alone as long as it is facing exactly north and south. Tell me how this really works!

We had another visitor waiting for us tonight. This time the JUDGE had to take care of this rattler. Much larger than the last one but only 9 rattlers. It was on the south side of the house by the roses.

We had a visitor waiting for us today when we returned from church. I have put seed out for her. Hopefully the beautiful cardinal will stay. I think this is the first one at the house that I know.

While Darren traveled to Africa this year for MITS, Buffy, Laura and Kate traveled to Alaska with us. We really had a good time.

One of the first wildlife you will see in Alaska is the eagle. There are two nest very close to Layne's home in Wasilla. You will see the eagles every day.

We are hiking to the creek that is located at the base of the bluff from Layne and Jolene's house. No snakes in Alaska but watch out for bears!
